Jocelyn Hess is Named a Goldwater Scholar Knoxville, TN, March 31, 2025  MSE junior Jocelyn Hess was named a 2025 Goldwater scholar. She is pictured here with her undergraduate research mentor, Prof. Harper and MSE senior Jakob Scroggins, a 2024 Goldwater scholar also mentored by Prof. Harper. Jocelyn and Jakob have each had a number of recognitions at the University of Tennesee. Both performed SULI internships, first at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (JH & JS), then later at other institutions (JH & JS). Both have received several other awards (JH & JS). Both have won undergraduate research poster competitions at TMS (JH & JS). More photos on the Keffer research group site. |
