MSE Fall Potluck Knoxville, TN, December 3, 2025  The local student chapter of Material Advantage in the Material Science & Engineering Department hosted a Fall Potluck on the study day before final exams commenced. Undergraduate and graduate students, staff, faculty and friends of the MSE department attended.  One group of students worked on a group crossword puzzle, created by MSE alum, Jakob Scroggins.  Another group of students eventually got a poker game going, after they submitted their course project for Prof. Keffer's MSE 301, due at the stroke of midnight.  Dr. Cothrine again brought his ferrets, whose amazing stress-relieving powers are entirely appropriate for study day. To all the students, good luck on your final exams!
