Dr. Damilola Akamo's Hooding Ceremony & Graduation Party Knoxville, TN, May 20 & 28, 2023  Dr. Dami Akamo was advised by Dr. Kyle Gluesenkamp (not pictured) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and co-advised by Prof. David Keffer (right) in the Materials Science & Engineering Department at the University of Tennessee. Prof. Keffer hooded Dami at the commencement ceremony. The title of Dami's Dissertation is "Development and Characterization of Stable Low-cost Salt Hydrate-based Phase Change Materials for Thermal Energy Storage Applications".  On the following weekend, the Nigerian community of Knoxville held a party to celebrate "Dr. Dami's" achievement. In this photo, Dami is pictured with his wife, Oromidayo "Dayo" Tunji-Ajayi.
