Mike Thompson's Master's Defense Knoxville, TN, March 27, 2023  Mike Thompson successfully defended his Master's of Science thesis in the Materials Science & Engineering Department at the University of Tennessee. The subject of his research was the use of Ce to improve the corrosion resistance of aluminum alloys.  Mike is pictured here with his thesis advisor, Prof. Eric Lass, and a member of his MS committee, Prof. David Keffer. Prof. David Harper (not shown) completed the committee.
