Clifton Sluss defends his doctoral dissertation
Knoxville, TN, July 1, 2022

Clifton Sluss successfully defended his doctoral dissertation titled, "Direct Calculation of Configurational Entropy: Pair Correlation Functions and Disorder".

His doctoral committed consisted of Prof. Haixuan Xu (UTK MSE), Prof. David Keffer (UTK MSE), Adjunct Prof. Don Nicholson (University of North Carolina Asheville, Physics and Astronomy) and Prof. Orlando Rios (UTK MSE).

This is their "band" photo. If they were in a band, their name would be
“Entropy Pair Functional Theory for Practically Everyone”.

As an alumnus of the Keffer research group, Clifton received the obligatory customized research t-shirt.
