Students, faculty and staff of the UTK Materials Science & Engineering department gathered for a night of fun in a Trivia Contest.

MSE advisor, Hannah Swan, organized the event and served as DJ and scorekeeper. MSE alum, Dr. Matt Loyd, reprised his role as contest host.

We had a team with current seniors and recent UTK MSE graduates. Apparently, they unanimously agreed to go by the name "Team Melanie Buziak".

Team BMG was composed of Prof. Choo with past and present members of his research group.

Prof. Gilbert tried to sneak on the defending champions team, "Spoop Troop".

Prof. Gilbert got booted for the notorious Kate G.

Team of three!

The ever-popular Dr. Loyd mesmerized the crowd with his stirring rendition of "Material Girl".

The combination of seniors and recent graduates proved a formidable challenge. At the end of the night, they hoisted high the legendary trophy! Congratulations to all participants.
