Dr. Orlando Rios of Oak Ridge National Laboratory presents his research on novel battery electrodes composed of lignin carbon fiber to Dr. Albert Fert. Dr. Fert won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2007 for the discovery of giant magnetoresistance.

UT Chemical Engineering graduate student, Nick McNutt, is a co-author on this poster and is responsible for the models that appear front and center in the poster.
