WUTK (90.3 FM) Radio Broadcast - Monday, March 28, 2016, 8:00 PM
"Voices from the Golden Age of Non-Idiomatic Improvisation--the Big Ears Festival Edition" will air on WUTK (90.3 FM) on Monday, March 28, 2016, starting at about 8:00 PM and lasting for a little more than an hour. An extension of the FYS 129 course, "The Golden Age of Non-Idiomiatic Improvisation" offered at the University of Tennessee, the show features ten distinct tracks, showcasing the breadth of non-idiomatic improvisation. This playlist features 8 tracks from musicians appearing in the 2016 festival, 1 track from a previous festival musician and 1 track from someone who should be invited next year.
